Secrets to High Availability for SQL Server in AWS Cloud

Webinar: Secrets to High Availability for SQL Server in AWS Cloud

Providing high availability for SQL Server in the cloud doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive.

Watch this webinar, hosted by high availability experts Cassius Rhue and Heath Carroll, on what you need to know about deploying SQL Server on AWS and building high availability solutions for SQL Server in the cloud. Learn how to deploy a high availability SQL Server cluster in AWS EC2 without costly upgrades or complex configuration and learn key secrets that can help you save time and money in your migration of SQL Server to the cloud. Cassius demonstrates how to use AWS Quick Start Deployment templates to fast-track your cluster implementation.

Addressing the challenges of using shared storage for deploying clustered instances of SQL Server (FCIs)

Webinar: Addressing the challenges of using shared storage for deploying clustered instances of SQL Server (FCIs)

Shared storage is one of the biggest challenges for deploying clustered instances of SQL Server (FCIs). Each instance needs its own resources, including some form of shared disk — be it on a traditional SAN, a Server Message Block (SMB) share starting with SQL Server 2012, or a Cluster Shared Volume (CSV) starting in SQL Server 2014.

Enabling SANLess SQL Server Failover Clusters in the Amazon EC2 Cloud

Webinar: Enabling SANLess SQL Server Failover Clusters in the Amazon EC2 Cloud

Join Denny Cherry, principal consultant of Denny Cherry & Associates Consulting, as he talks about setting up a highly available Microsoft SQL Server instance while hosting it in the Amazon EC2 cloud. This includes not only providing you protection within a single EC2 Availability Zone as well as setting up a highly available database instance which is spread across multiple EC2 Availability Zone’s giving a single SQL Server instance geographic redundancy using native Amazon EC2 virtual machines as well as DataKeeper from SIOS Technologies.
