Moving A Google Form Between Google Domains

Moving A Google Form Between Google Domains

Moving A Google Form Between Google Domains

If you are anything like me, you might have a few different Google accounts that you work with on a regular basis. Recently, I needed help in Moving A Google Form Between Google Domains. I spent a fair amount of time creating a Google Form. Only to realize I did this while logged in with my personal account rather than my work account. I didn’t really want to redo the work I had done. I tried searching for answers online but nothing specific came up to addressed my situation.

It’s not hard to do. I figured I’d write it down just in case it happens to you. I stumbled upon the fix just by trying a few things. Let’s assume this is a new form with no data.

In Moving A Google Form Between Google Domains, all you have to do is the following:

  1. Add your second Google account as a Collaborator on the form
  2. Log in to your second Google account, open the form and “Make a copy” of the form

That’s it! Now you have a copy of the form in your second Google account. Of course if you had already collected some data on the first form, you would want to copy that Sheet. Put it in your second Google account as well and attach the form to that copy of the data. Be sure to delete the old form so you don’t accidentally use the old form.

Change Internet Explorer 11 From Bing To Google

Changing The Default Search Provider In Internet Explorer 11 From Bing to Google #IE11 #GOOGLE #BING

Changing The Default Search Provider In Internet Explorer 11 From Bing to Google #IE11 #GOOGLE #BING

For those of you who still use IE 11 from time to time, you may have noticed that with a recent update your default search provider may have been changed to Bing. Read on if you want to find how to change Internet Explorer 11 From Bing To Google.

Microsoft has made a security enhancement. It hopes to stop malicious software from hijacking the browser by changing the default search engine and home page. I’m a dad of two teenage “gamers” who are always on the verge of downloading the latest malware. So while I do appreciate the added security, there’s a tiny bit of concern. One of the side “benefits” of this security update is that the default search provider is now Bing. Switching it back to Google is not as easy as 1-2-3.

Microsoft posts the steps on how to Change Internet Explorer 11 From Bing To Google in their article here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/internet-explorer-11-settings-protection

Don’t mind me.  I love Microsoft products. But unfortunately, Bing is not friendly for the types of searching I do which is generally looking for some very specific technical content. I think Bing might be consumer friendly. However, Google wins the search engine wars in giving me answers

No More Free Google Apps

Free Google Apps – A Great Intro Before Purchase

http://googleenterprise.blogspot.com/2012/12/changes-to-google-apps-for-businesses.html

I’m glad I got Boy Scout Troop 20 registered under the deadline. Free Google Apps was a great intro to the product for me and I looked at it as a gateway “drug” that gave me enough of a look to consider the premium version for any “serious” cloud based business operation, i.e., not a Boy Scout Troop.

Is The Subscription Worth It?

While $50/year per user is not expensive, it certainly can be a show stopper for many small non-profit organizations who may have otherwise been potential customers. So the question is will Microsoft take advantage of this opening to gain market share? If so, I know where I will be deploying my next cloud based small business site.
