April 2, 2015 by Margaret Hoagland

Image -- SIOS DataKeeper Cluster Edition in the Microsoft Azure MarketplaceToday SIOS Technology Corp announced that its DataKeeper Cluster Edition software has been certified by Microsoft Azure and is now available in the Azure marketplace. This marks the first offering that is Azure certified and enables customers to create a SANLess high availability cluster in Azure using Microsoft Windows Server Failover Clustering.

SIOS Technology Corp is the maker of both SAN and #SANLess software solutions. These solutions are designed to make clusters easy to use and own. The solutions are flexible allowing users to protect their choice of Windows or Linux environment in any configuration or combination of physical, virtual and cloud without sacrificing performance or availability.

DataKeeper Cluster edition provides real-time data replication of Windows Sever environments. The software delivers performance-optimized host-based replication for Windows Server 2008 R2 and 2012 that integrates seamlessly with Windows Server Failover Clustering. The software is ideal for protecting business-critical Windows environments such as Microsoft SQL Server, SharePoint, Lync, Dynamics, and Hyper-V, regardless of whether they are physical, virtual, cloud, or any combination. With Azure certification, SAN-based Windows server failover clusters for protection can be moved to Azure and achieve the more comprehensive high availability protection.
